As both the economy and policy of the US shift rapidly and show signs of accelerating, I hear more and more of my colleagues voicing the desire to up stakes and relocate to somewhere more stable and in line with their own values--an opinion that I share. But getting visa sponsorship in much of the developed world is a scattershot effort; best I can tell, it's almost something you have to track down on a... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Is there a website or registry that provides information on AU companies that offer relocation packages? I know Relocate.Me but they don't have AU listings at the moment. Source: over 2 years ago

Another way is to use other sites like relocate.me which shows a curated list of jobs with relocation package. Source: about 3 years ago
Maybe we can just add a Wiki that lists the job boards showing whether visa sponsorship is available or not to the applicants. That would be very useful for people outside the EU and it will cut down on these questions and document the current companies better. I use relocate.me for example. I personally find it useful to talk about immigration rules in this sub because I think there might be specific... Source: about 3 years ago
Actually, for Germany and Netherlands, it is not required for most of the jobs, I don't know what portals you are using, but in any job I have seen, the have mentioned that German/Dutch is not required, you can check sites like - https://relocate.me/ for better offers. Source: about 3 years ago

Check out https://relocate.me/ - there are some Dutch companies that hire internationally and advertise on this website. If youโre a halfway decent software engineer then it is totally feasible to find an english-speaking job in the Dutch tech industry that comes with a relocation package (I was relocated by a Dutch company and so were many of my colleagues). Make sure you only speak to companies that will pay for... Source: over 3 years ago

Youll need to be at the top of your field, and have a GitHub repo - or some projects to differentiate your skill set. Then, also visit the respective job websites (indeed, Reed, honeypot, relocate.me) and more and apply there. Source: over 3 years ago
I've commented about this before, but there's a huge tech market in the EU, and getting visa sponsorship in EU countries is far, far easier. The EU Blue Card (https://apply.eu) program makes it pretty easy for companies to sponsor a visa that'll translate to a residence permit. As for jobs: you can find a bunch of them (search 'VISA') on Hacker News hiring threads (see: https://hnhired.fly.dev); another cool site... Source: over 3 years ago

I have sent my CV so many times to companies that posted offers at relocate.me and LinkedIn, pretty much to all of the ones listed as Recognized Sponsors (by the IND), but haven't had success. I tried editing my resume many times, even got some consulting, but that hasn't done the job. And I can assure you my CV is not bad, I've published scientific articles and got some really interesting and innovative work done... Source: almost 4 years ago
