I'm curious what you mean by that. I think Apple refurbs are fantastic and I buy them when I can (for work, personal, etc.). I think other brand's/third-party refurbs give that category a bad name, but I would definitely recommend Apple's to anyone. Any mac Apple offers becomes available from Apple as a refurb, direct from Apple, for significantly less than the identical new item. Anywhere from $150 to several hundred less, as you climb the price tiers. If you want good deals on some used Apple hardware the refurb.me site usually has a lot of good stuff. I wouldn't go any older than 2018 release models. It is nice to have that confluence of useability between Apple devices. I'd always recommend buying from somewhere large and trustworthy, I've had good customer service dealing with problems a year or more down the line, the sort of faults that aren't present or obvious within 30 day of purchase from ebay or your local dodgy secondhand electronics store; playing pogo a lot isn't kind to our batteries, so I want to know it's been replaced as part of the refurb, not just listed as in...
