  There are a lot of characters spread over a lot of places, so it can be hard to keep track of who and where people are. Having a few things to hand to refer to as a reminder, like families trees and maps, can help - although be wary of spoilers if you're looking online for stuff.   As someone who just watched the series for the first time, avoid everything. Even googling the Actors names will sometimes have character spoilers in the search results.   I remember there being a really cool website that included an interactive map that showed you all of the episode locations back around when the final season was airing. It also had detailed family trees and descriptions of the houses in the show along with a bunch of interesting other features. It definitely wasn't quartermaster, atlasofthrones, or loremaps.
