  • My new laptop has rich text copy and pasting, and it is absolutely infuriating. It is crippling my progress on basic tasks like programming. I need this to die on my computer in every imaginable way, I never want anything to ever be rich text copy and pasting on this machine it must die
    Take a look at PureText (https://stevemiller.net/puretext/). I don't think there is a specific "OS-level setting" for disabling rich text in the clipboard, but the goal of PureText is to do exactly that. Source: over 2 years ago
