There are a lot of articles out there on making gradient-bordered buttons, but the ones I read do not provide a production-grade solution. At Preply, we needed to have a partially transparent background button with rounded corners, and with gradient border. We need to get it in our Design System, to think about a React Native solution. Preply is a Ukrainian-run tutor platform that is awesome. I have a tutor for Ukrainian language on there and he’s quite affordable and really good at what he does. Highly recommend the platform, feel free to DM me if you’re interested in my particular tutor (I’m sure the other Ukrainian tutors on there are great, too). Source: 10 months ago

I'm using Preply (preply.com) and I have a good experience with my tutor Paolo there https://preply.com/en/tutor/607265. We do a combination of Italian articles about different topics and grammar exercises. Talking only in Italian for an hour a week and having someone to walk you through grammar and help understand things helps tremendously! Source: 12 months ago
I had the same trouble so I hired a tutor on Preply. (preply.com). Source: 12 months ago

However, Turkish also has some features that are easier to grasp for English speakers, such as the absence of articles and the phonetic structure of the language. In summary, although Turkish presents some difficulties for English speakers,... Source: about 1 year ago

Preply.com has some online tutors from Pakistan for pretty great rates if you have the money - I'm paying $7/USD per hour, and I've seen rates as low as $4 per hour. Source: about 1 year ago
Https://preply.com/ this site has affordable mentors, with their rates mentioned and you can take a demo, the best thing about it is they are scheduled and monitored by the system, so they don't get paid until they deliver. And yes, they have Pakistani mentors who have affordable prices. :). Source: about 1 year ago

French conversation classes, that's about 50-100 pln per hour. Google something like 'zajęcia z nativem'. There's this page https://preply.com/ , but not sure if they take a cut. You can probably advertise for free on facebook in some 'learn french' group'(nauka francuskiego). Source: about 1 year ago
- I've also heard good things about Preply. You can select your language, price range, and what type of learning you are interested in so it seems like this would lend itself well to satisfying requirements of a specific curriculum if that's of interest to you. Source: about 1 year ago
I’m now looking for a 1:1 private Hindi tutor to help me via one to two remote weekly sessions, probably off a platform like preply.com or italki.com. Other than an individual’s star rating, what should I look out for in terms of international teaching standards and credentials? For example, English teachers typically have something like the TOEFL, and Mandarin Chinese would use something like the HSK Chinese... Source: about 1 year ago

I'm a ESL instructor living and working in Turkey. I study Turkish on preply.com, which could be helpful for conversation, but obviously price is a barrier. I would also echo what many others are saying and watch Turkish TV/movies and read, of course! Source: over 1 year ago
