Crystaldiskinfo - via a favourite of mine, portableapps.com. The app doesn't run portably here, it's just where I am used to picking handy software from. STARTTLS emails work fine but I see no option to limit alerts to WARN, FAIL. Again, I use PortableApps because of my personal preferences, as a form of app store. Source: almost 2 years ago
I have NEVER been a fan of McAfee, or Norton anti virus software. And now they are basically moot as Windows Defender (whatever it's called in 10) is more than capable. I will always have a back up anti virus (AVG) and a malware scanner (Malwarebytes) and just in case Spybot S&D. I am a LONG time supporter of Portable Apps as they allow you to keep those programs without really having to install them onto you PC. Source: almost 2 years ago

Build a USB with PortableApps (https://portableapps.com/). This way you can build your own custom portable app suite that could live on the USB, your PC or in a synced cloud folder. Other than a password safe, you can have browsers, and other needed utilities all in one place. Another cool thing is the platform will keep itself updated with the latest versions of the apps you place on the USB. Source: almost 2 years ago

I know Opera Mail was discontinued years ago, but I still find the aesthetics quite nice for my liking. I've been using the portable version provided by Portableapps.com but I'm not sure if it's safe enough to open emails without getting any malicious files on my computer. I would like to know if there is another version that guarantees that security or another program that provides that kind of aesthetics. Source: about 2 years ago
