Iโ€™d say the hardest part for me was going from being able to clock out of my job as a researcher to having to be on all the time as a med student. • Tip for making it through long outlines!
I incorporate the Pomodoro method into my reading. For those who don't know, the Pomodoro technique is 25 minutes of working, 5 minute break, cycle through 4 times until you earn a 15 minute break. This timer helps with the pomo cycles. Source: over 2 years ago

Next, do a few pomodos(read up on the Pomodoro technique if you need to) without distractions/phone around, then take a break (If you can take a walk outside, that's a bonus). IMO, at FULL focus 10 pomodoros a day (5h) is a lot just so you can calibrate your expectations (start with a lower goal). Working at full focus leads to significant momentum where the seemingly impossible becomes possible again. Source: over 2 years ago
