PokerPall covers the entire arc of a poker night in one app, while every other poker timer stops when the last hand is dealt. Setup (chip distribution calculator), the game itself (blind timer), and the part no competitor handles: settlement โ automatically working out who pays who when the night ends. That last one is the argument every home game ends with, and it's the reason PokerPall exists.
PokerPall is a consumer app โ its users are home poker hosts and their friends, not companies.
Traditional poker timer apps do one thing โ count down blinds. With PokerPall you don't need a timer app, a spreadsheet for chips, and a calculator for payouts: it replaces all three. It's also built for the whole table, not just the host โ players join via QR code and everyone sees the shared end-of-game summary. And it's free, with a one-time premium unlock instead of a subscription.
Flutter (with Riverpod) for the app, Supabase for the backend. That's what makes the real-time multiplayer parts โ QR joining and the shared game summary โ work across everyone's phones at the table.
People who host home poker nights with friends โ physical chips and cards around a real table. The host sets up the game in the app; the other players at the table join with a QR scan. It's a utility for social home games, not an online poker or gambling product โ there's no real-money play in the app.
Every home poker night ends the same way: someone counting chips at 1 a.m. trying to work out who owes who, and at least one argument about the math. After one too many of those nights, I built the settlement calculator to end the argument, then the blind timer and chip calculator to fix the rest of the evening too. PokerPall is built by a solo developer in Tallinn, Estonia, and launched in June 2026.
