Nothing wrong using apps. I still have Wonder and Starry AI installed for convenience. Sometimes I use https://playgroundai.com. You can generate up to a thousand pics a day for free using stable diffusion, a few different models I think.. And dall-e 2. Works fine in a mobile browser. Source: about 2 years ago

That doesn't mean you have no options though, playground.ai and leonardo.ai are both stable diffusion powered with simple interfaces, just on the cloud. MacOS has DiffusionBee which is pretty simple. Easy Diffusion is a thing too. Source: about 2 years ago
