  • Tell HN: Pivotal Tracker removes non-enterprise price tiers
As others have said, Linear looks nice (no real experience). https://plane.so/ is an open source option that I have also not played with. I am always on the lookout for options since we're on Jira at $DAYJOB (and yeah it sucks), not that we'll ever change. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago
  • A list of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS offerings that have free tiers of interest to devops and infradev
Plane - Plane is a simple, extensible, open-source project and product management tool. Free for unlimited members, up to 5MB file upload size, 1000 issues. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
  • I need project/task management tool that I can self host
Https://plane.so has most of those features. Source: 5 months ago
  • Leantime: Open-Source Monday.com Alternative
"We take the WTF out of managing work" -nice. I love the animation with this. The UI of the product looks pretty good too. Glad to see you have row grouping on the table view. Another good open-source Jira alternative is https://plane.so/ . They also have a free cloud plan with unlimited users. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Trello Alternative
I'll also check out plane.so and taiga.io. I have not checked those out. Source: 11 months ago
  • Debate Land Beta 0.2 is out!
A few more truly in the vibe of open source projects not advertising their hosting providers: https://plane.so/ , https://element.io/ , https://www.loomio.com/ , https://zulip.com/ , and it keeps going... Very few open source projects, in the FOSS sense, are advertising their hosting provider. Source: 11 months ago

As commented on Hacker News: "I love seeing competition for Jira, because it needs to die".

I think what would make Plane an even more viable alternative is more integrations.
