A few things that are specific to PitchMap:
Most networking tools optimise for reach; PitchMap optimises for proximity and timing.
PitchMap is built for people whose next deal depends on meeting the right person:
It is equally useful for frequent business travellers, who use travel mode to build a schedule in a city before arriving.
PitchMap was started by founder and CEO Cameron Yemmi, who came from a sales and business development background and kept running into the same problem: the right partner, client or investor was often only a few streets away, and neither side ever found out.
The idea was to make that invisible layer visible โ a real-time, geospatial opportunity network where people, ideas and needs show up on a map instead of disappearing into a feed. PitchMap grew out of that into a full platform with opportunity posts, events, groups and travel mode, all organised around where you actually are.
