That's because Phyphox is financially backed by multiple public bodys of the German governement, namely the RWTH Aachen and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as pointed out on the landing page [0]. [0] https://phyphox.org/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
To achieve this, I used "phyphox" โ phyphox[8], a smartphone app that can measure various physical values. I mounted my BNO055 sensor on the iPhone as shown below [Figure 5]. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Take a look at the https://phyphox.org/ app for lower level access to the sensors on Android and iPhones. There is a GPS section that gives you coordinates but unfortunately doesnโt tell you about each satellite. The precision of other phone sensors seems even more amazing. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago

Besides listening here's a way you can get more clues on using your synths to approach the sound. Get https://phyphox.org/ on your tablet or phone. Run "Audio Oscilloscope" and set the (displayed) time to its max (I think 500 ms or so). Use your speakers to input to your phones microphone. See the waveforms from both the video and your own synths to get some clues. Source: over 4 years ago

The data was taken making use of the app phyphox and the accelerometer of my Realme x2pro. The graphs are done with matplotlib and annotated later. Source: about 5 years ago
I am doing my physics Ia where I am supposed to measure the pitch (frequency) of the sound, so I am wondering whether I should code an Arduino from scratch and attach it using a sound sensor or should I just use the available apps like Arduino Science Journal (https://www.arduino.cc/education/science-journal) or maybe phyphox(https://phyphox.org/). Other suggestions are also welcome. Source: about 5 years ago
