For cut-on-fold pieces, mark the straight fold edge and choose lengthwise-folded fabric. PatternNest keeps that edge on the fold and accounts for both fabric layers. Pattern-matching rules support stripes, checks and image repeats using manually selected reference points.
Export the cutting layout as PDF, SVG or DXF. Files are processed on your device, and the app supports offline use after the initial load. The interface is available in English and German.
Layouts with up to 10 finished fabric pieces, counting copies and mirrored pieces, are free. Larger layouts require a EUR 14 one-time licence. PDF import extracts closed vector outlines; it does not stitch tiled PDFs or automatically import grain arrows, notches or sewing instructions.
