I would not use cpubenchmark.net. Their testing has been very questionable. Source: 5 months ago
I decided to look through cpubenchmark.net to maybe gauge what CPUs and graphics cards are better than Cyberpunk's new requirements but still within my means. Source: 8 months ago
My friend is kindly giving me an old computer of his and I'm just trying to get grip of which parts I should combine from my current computer and the one he is giving me. The main component I am unsure of is the CPU, I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2GHz) but the other computer has a Intel I5-7600K (3.6GHz). I've compared the two CPUs on cpubenchmark.net and it says the Ryzen 5 1600 is better despite having a... Source: 8 months ago
I am currently upgrading my old (2017) pc. Since I do not have any hard requirement for it (I just use it for gaming once in a while...) I have decided to stay in budget buying used but decent component, and keeping my old motherboard. It was original provided with an Intel Core i5-7400 CPU, so it comes with the socket FCLGA1151. My idea is to upgrade to an Intel Core i5-9600K, as the 9th generation is the latest... Source: 10 months ago
Cpubenchmark.net and videocardbenchmark.net for basic knowledge of hardware power. Source: 10 months ago
- below that is the new n95 & n100 series which the 5626u has 2 more pcores, 3x more threads, ~47% faster single core, ~266% faster multicore (cpubenchmark.net scores). Source: 10 months ago
I would recommend buying a used, refurbished desktop from an Amazon seller that is selling plenty of them. Recommend i7-3770 as a minimum. Use cpubenchmark.net to find benchmark numbers (also check single threaded benchmark performance). Source: 10 months ago
If you want to upgrade, I suggest for GPU, check techpowerup.com for 1070ti's relative performance, and for CPU, check cpubenchmark.net for something around 6800k's benchmark score. Source: 10 months ago
On notebookcheck.net review the T470p with the i7-7700HQ is 22% faster in Cinebench R15 multi core than T480 with an i7-8650U. But on cpubenchmark.net the 7700HQ is only 9.4% faster than the 8650U and 15% faster than the 8250U. Source: 11 months ago
The source code of the Tor browser is public, so you can just compile it from source. Firefox takes about 1,5 hours on my Ryzen 5 3500U Laptop processor, so just look up the difference in benchmarks over on cpubenchmark.net, guestimate and crosscompile on your fastest hardware. There a plenty of comparison sites providing CPU comparisons. One of my favorites is https://cpubenchmark.net. But you can also compare results with https://browser.geekbench.com and places where people are posting things like their Cinebench scores (just realize there will be "posers", that is, people posting unrealistic conditions and benchmarks that are not, for example, stable). 3DMark being made by Passmark which is also responsible by the excellent CPU and GPU benchmark aggregation websites. Always my go-to for standardized performance. Source: 11 months ago
Basically, it sucks, but it's all we have. The closest thing to it (that I know of) is cpubenchmark.net, and it gives weird results sometimes too (though I remember it being worse than it seems to be now). Source: 11 months ago
Although I went from an i7 to an i5, the i5-12500H outperforms the i7-10510U by a lot if I check cpubenchmark.net. I still have my previous laptop and when I connect the interface to that one and run the same Pro Tools session with the same playback settings, there are no problems. Any suggestions? In case you noticed that the single thread value for "Intel Celeron N2807" is higher than the total, this is how cpubenchmark.net explain it: Single thread rating may be higher than the overall rating, thread performance is just one component of the CPU Mark. Source: about 1 year ago
Do a cpu benchmark and compare your score online (I recommend performancetest from passmark, cpubenchmark.net is their database, you should hit around 11k points with your cpu). I'm thinking undervolt is causing your issues. Source: about 1 year ago
You can compare CPU benchmarks at websites such as cpubenchmark.net or cpu.userbenchmark.com. Source: about 1 year ago
Check cpubenchmark.net - the AMD has slightly better performance. Source: about 1 year ago
I did a quick check of the processor speeds of a new Synology NAS and of course its much better than my old one. But as my old one is still running well, I am not going to upgrade yet. So this works for me for now. Maybe for you this would also work if you check a cheap desktop computer you can use for transcoding and dedicate to that if you dont have any other device around. Check cpubenchmark.net to se specs and... Source: about 1 year ago
I've noticed than when running some cpu intensive games, my frames are too low (compared to simmilar rigs viewed online). I ran a CPU benchmark and my score was 8237, well below the 12272 that my cpu usually scores (according to cpubenchmark.net). Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to fix it or diagnose it better? Source: about 1 year ago
I used the performance test from cpubenchmark.net. Source: about 1 year ago
