On my Windows machine (using Chrome) I successfully created a passkey in passkeys.io and had BitWarden store it. Works like a charm. When I log into passkeys.io via a passkey, the BitWarden popup appears and it successfully provides the passkey. Source: 7 months ago
It's easy to register/login, add multiple passkeys, give each passkey a different name, etc. I'm not familiar with Hanko (the team behind passkeys.io). They seem to be just another cloud-based identity and authentication platform, albeit with a nice open source framework and a self hosted version. Source: 7 months ago

It presents a qr code you can scan with the other device. You can try it on https://passkeys.io. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Correct. Nothing is centralized about Passkey (other than where you may choose to store your authenticators). Each site gets a unique keypair. But you do find lots of screen shots and videos about how passkeys.io works etc. So it must be working. Source: over 1 year ago

Have there been any talks about supporting this on Linux? On Passkeys.io it states that support for most combinations of Windows/Chrome/IOS/Android have been either implemented, or announced. Firefox seems to be missing, and the only Linux on the list... Source: over 1 year ago
I'm running the latest iOS 16.0.2 and when I go to passkeys.io or other test sites, and chose "sign in with passkey", I dont get option one to generate one. Only option 2 and 3 (scanning a QR or using a yubikey). Source: over 1 year ago
