While I can't voice my opinion on dorms/apartments I would say to utilize Columbia's parking garages when needed as the first hour is free, then a $1 per hour after. Also have the app, Park Mobile to readily park and pay on the street outside campus. Source: over 2 years ago

For those of you who use the parkmobile.io app, I was just told by lastpass to change my password on that app because of a recent-ish breach (don't ask when, I have no idea). If you use this app to park in Denver, change your password now. I can't imagine it's that old of a breach, I don't think it's been in use that long, but better safe than sorry.
