10 year after the decision that changed his life, Carlos Alegre, who took a last-minute decision to enter Law School instead of Computer Science, things took a turn. Carlos went on creating a personal website to display his achievements in tech and design. The idea? To just use markdown files, which are well-kown to web developers and indie hackers to easily publish articles online. However, when finishing his own website, he stood for a second: "Wait... Could this be a service?". Any sign of sanity would stop a web developer on tooking that challenge. After all, it was a stupid idea! However, Carlos Alegre's creativity in that moment made him see beyond the challenge: if he could simulate his setup, anyone could build their own website! Over a year of engineering weekends go by, and there it was, smooth as butter. The first-ever text-based website builder! The vision for how the user experience could for everyday people, questioning the status quo was just the natural thing to do. PageRush, even though born in the era of AI, can live completely independent of it, yet still be as optimized for AI as a website builder can be. After all, it's just text!
PageRush turns formatted text into a live website through a consistent, supported layout. AI helps write the content, but it does not generate code or redesign the website with every prompt. This gives everyday people a predictable way to publish without learning how to build or host a website.
