I have a tax related question. If I purchase a pre-IPO stock in the secondary market or via crowdfunding sites like ourcrowd.com, then do I need to pay tax on any capital gains that the stock might have in subsequent funding rounds. So for example, if I purchase pre-IPO stock at $1 in Series B and in Series C, it is valuated at $2, does that become a tax event as a capital gain even though I have not sold the...
