1. What makes Ordamo.app unique?

   It models the order itself, not a document or a shelf.

   A made-to-order sale takes a deposit now and delivers weeks or months later, so the money and the goods never line up. Invoicing software describes a document. Inventory software counts units that already exist. Accounting reports the month after it closed. None of them holds an order that stays open for a season.

   Ordamo keeps one object: the order, with the deposit received, the balance still owed, the cost of the specific production batch it was built from, and what it actually earned on delivery. That intersection — deposits, made-to-order production, and no stock held — is the part nobody else covers.

2. Why should a person choose Ordamo.app over its competitors?

   Because the alternatives are each good at something else.

   Craftybase costs raw materials properly. Katana plans a factory floor. Xero and QuickBooks close your books correctly. Every one of them is a reasonable purchase for the job it was built for.

   What none of them does is track a deposit against an order that stays open for three months, or tell you what one custom piece earned at the cost you actually paid for that batch rather than an average of every batch you have ever bought.

   So the honest answer is conditional. If you sell from stock, an inventory tool is the better buy. If you take money up front and deliver twelve weeks later, that gap is your whole problem, and closing it is the only thing Ordamo does.

3. How would you describe the primary audience of Ordamo.app?

   Small made-to-order brands: custom furniture, decor and lighting, independent fashion, ceramics and bespoke jewelry.

   Typically one to ten people. They produce through outside workshops or contractors, with no factory floor and no showroom, and they hold no finished stock because nothing exists until someone orders it. They take somewhere between 30% and 60% up front and deliver weeks or months later, and most of their orders arrive through their own store, WhatsApp or Instagram DMs rather than a checkout.

   The common thread is that they can tell you what an order was quoted at, and not what it earned.

4. What's the story behind Ordamo.app?

   It was built for one real workshop before it was a product.

   Ordamo comes out of running Minimo Vital, a made-to-order furniture studio in Buenos Aires. Every order there lived in three places at once: the deposit in a bank feed, the specification in a chat thread, the cost in a spreadsheet. Knowing what a finished piece had actually earned meant reconstructing it by hand, months after the fact — and by then the answer was too late to change what the next quote should say.

   Every tool we tried solved a different problem well and that one not at all. So the missing one got built, and the studio was its first user.

5. Which are the primary technologies used for building Ordamo.app?

   React 19 and TypeScript on the front end, built with Vite, styled with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui on Radix primitives.

   Supabase for Postgres, authentication, row-level security and edge functions. TanStack Query for data fetching, React Router for routing, Recharts for the charts, Zod and React Hook Form for validation.

   Shipped as a single-page app with server-side prerendering for the marketing and blog pages, so those are real HTML for crawlers that do not run JavaScript.
