2. What makes OrbHeaven unique?

   Most astrology apps hand you a paragraph and ask you to trust it. OrbHeaven shows the arithmetic underneath every statement it makes: which ephemeris produced the positions, which House system was used, how wide the orbs were, and the exact universal time the chart was cast for. It also does something almost no other app does. When a period it flagged has passed, it comes back and asks how it actually went, keeps your answer, and takes it into account next time. The result is a record you can check rather than a stream of horoscopes you can't.

3. Why should a person choose OrbHeaven over its competitors?

   Three reasons. The free birth chart needs no account, no email address, and nothing you type is kept, where most free chart tools want a sign-up first. Every reading is traceable back to the calculation behind it, so you can check the work instead of taking it on faith, and birth times are converted using the daylight saving rules actually in force at that place on that date, which is where many chart tools quietly go wrong. And OrbHeaven is built around a calendar and a memory rather than a daily feed: it tells you when a stretch begins and ends, then asks afterwards how it went.

4. How would you describe the primary audience of OrbHeaven?

   Adults in the middle of a real decision, such as a move, a job, a relationship or a launch, who want a thinking companion with a calendar rather than a daily horoscope. In practice that splits two ways. Newcomers arrive through the free birth chart and want plain English instead of jargon. People who already know some astrology arrive tired of apps that won't say which House system they used. Both share one trait: they want to be able to check the reasoning.

5. What's the story behind OrbHeaven?

   It was built by one person, Kevin Blaxton, who spent a career in accounting and finance before this. He came to astrology software as a user and kept hitting the same wall: the app would state something with total confidence and offer no way to see where it came from. That is an uncomfortable position for someone whose profession is showing the work. OrbHeaven began as an attempt to build the version he wanted, one that names its sources, admits what it cannot know when a birth time is missing, and keeps a record of whether it was right. It launched in September 2026.

6. Which are the primary technologies used for building OrbHeaven?

   Next.js and TypeScript, with Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data and Vercel for hosting. Planetary positions are computed with the astronomy-engine library rather than generated by a language model, and time zone conversion uses the IANA time zone database so that historic daylight saving rules are applied correctly. It is a progressive web app, so it installs to a phone home screen straight from the browser with no app store involved.
