  I am new to modding. I have not installed any mod yet, this will be my first. After watching some videos (mostly by Figureight) to understand how to download a mod, I have tried downloading OpenIV, but the link http://openiv.com/ refuses to work.   Openiv's original website "openiv.com" appears to have been taken down permanently, the website is offline and there is no way to download the tool for gta5 modding, another website "openiv.org" appears to have popped up, however, this new site is only registered for the next 3 months, and I am unsure if the website is safe, I did a urlscan using urlscan.io and the website doesnt appear to contain malware,...   That said, with GTA V there's an even easier way. OpenIV is a mod managing tool that stores your mods in its own folder and loads them when you launch the game, all while leaving the GTA installation alone.
