  • Is there a way to run a VM through browser or something else?
Hello, my pc is unable to run a vm locally due to lack of storage space, and I was wondering if there was a way to run a VM through alternative means? I've heard of onworks.net but it is a bit laggy and cant run the things im looking for (plus it looks a bit sketchy). I was wondering if there was a way to host a virtual machine through cloud or if there was some serivce I could use to run it remotely? If not, is... Source: about 1 year ago
  • It seems distrotest.net is offline (domain for sale).
Also there is also https://onworks.net. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I was searching for Minecraft mods and found a client called Hydrogen Client, apparently a free ghost client(it's on Github) I've scanned it using Kaspersky and it was clean. I don't want to get malware on my computer, any second thoughts from anyone.
Use Virus total, as it scans it with every antivirus known to man, and scan it with Theia, while it might not work for 1.8, its worth a shot. Keep in mind if you wish to test the client to see if its worth downloading than you should use a Linux VM. If your too lazy to download a VM software than you can use onworks.net, as its free. • A lot of unblocked games like FNF, Smash Karts and more!
Try using onworks.net (or other services) to bypass blocking. Source: about 2 years ago
  • So i'm posting this from an online virtual machine on a school pc
There's a website called onworks.net and you can open an ubuntu vm on it and completely bypass the schools search restrictions and they wont even know. You can even watch youtube or, as I'm currently doing, browse reddit. Have fun lol. Source: over 2 years ago
  • please help! D:
That said, I have not really tried Linux apart from a fair bit of sessions on distrotest.net and onworks.net so I would love to try it (on a live boot or installed) because I know it will be faster than my windows install because there is literally no bloat in any Linux distro (apart from endless os (which is more reasonable than windows for me)). • Pegasus in Kali Linux
I didn't download anything onto my system...My man gave me his old laptop a few weeks ago, I was able to download Oracle Virtual Box, but couldn't download Kali in Oracle, it said there was some setting in the bios that was preventing my laptop from downloading kali or something. So, when I want to practice hacking, I use Replit, unless I need to be root, then I use onworks.net to run live kali terminal online. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Windows 8 in 2021
Yeah I was meaning in some instances when some people are scared of the terminal and just don't want to use linux even tho there are many DEs, app stores, ways of doing things (outside of terminal) and the sheer amount of choice from fully using the terminal to not even needing the terminal (most of the time). It could even be easier than windows (i have been using windows ever since I was 4 years old and I have... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Please help! Does anyone remember the site?
Nevermind. The site I thought of, I found it. It's onworks.net. Source: about 3 years ago
  • i have found a way on how to get on reddit and other websites at school
So what I did was type in onworks.net which lets you run any pc engines (i think thats whats called im dumb) while not being administrated by your school. That is all enjoy. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Creating deb packages and packages file on a windows machine:
Go to onworks.net and fire up the vm of your choice. I personally like Zorin OS as it looks cool. The VM will fire up in about 1 minute. The password to run command like sudo is 123456 in all the vms. Source: about 3 years ago
