There are several simple ways of extracting maps from pdfs. I use https://onpaste.com/ . Select the image in the pdf, copy it, paste into the website, and download. It takes about 15 secs. There are also several ways to extract images that usually do not include the secret doors. Many times, I will copy the image from the pdf with ctrl-c then paste it into this site.
