Automated Transcription
Note2Tabs uses AI to automatically convert audio recordings into guitar tabs, saving musicians the time and effort of manually transcribing songs by ear.
Accessibility for Beginners
The tool makes it easier for beginner and intermediate guitarists to learn songs without needing advanced music theory knowledge or ear-training skills.
Time-Saving
Instead of spending hours listening and transcribing, users can get a tab output in a fraction of the time, which is especially useful for learning new songs quickly.
Convenient Practice Tool
Having quick access to tabs for various songs can help musicians expand their repertoire and practice more efficiently.
Web-Based Accessibility
Being a web-based tool, it can be accessed from any device with internet access without needing to install specialized software.
Note2Tabs combines AI guitar transcription, a full browser-based tab editor, and practice tools in a single workflow. Instead of exporting a transcription into another program, you can edit notes, timing, chords, fingerings, and song structure directly in your browser, then immediately play back and practice the result.
Unlike most alternatives that focus on either transcription or editing, Note2Tabs combines AI transcription, a full-featured browser-based tab editor, and integrated practice tools in one seamless workflow. That means less time switching between applications and more time playing.
Guitarists of all skill levels who want to learn songs, create tabs, or transcribe music more efficiently. This includes hobbyists, music students, teachers, content creators, and professional musicians looking for a faster way to turn recordings into editable guitar tabs.
Note2Tabs started in 2024 when one of our founders couldn't find guitar tabs for a song he wanted to learn and existing transcription tools weren't accurate or practical enough. Together with a friend, he built an AI guitar transcriber, which later evolved into a complete platform with a browser-based tab editor. Today, Note2Tabs is built to make transcribing, editing, and practicing guitar tabs as simple and enjoyable as possible.
