I can't say for certain it wont run on your 5700u, it could be Silverblue, so if you really want, try it on another distro such as Nobara https://nobaraproject.org. Source: 5 months ago
All in all if you want a distro advice from me, it would be Nobara Project. It comes from the same person building ProtonGE and he is also a Red Hat engineer iirc. So he know what he's working with. It comes preconfigured for gaming and preinstalls some software you'd need for gaming. Source: 5 months ago
