All in all if you want a distro advice from me, it would be Nobara Project. It comes from the same person building ProtonGE and he is also a Red Hat engineer iirc. So he know what he's working with. It comes preconfigured for gaming and preinstalls some software you'd need for gaming. Source: over 2 years ago
