  • Tell HN: Account can be deleted anytime, for any reason
This lets you have a stable email address (e.g., johndoe@mydomain.com) no matter which email service you use. Consider https://njal.la/ or something similar. I also use Portmaster when I am on Windows. Forget defending against the government, they have state authority (violence, jail time), you don't. See: https://riseup.net/ One-time pad (OTP) or "true randomness" (uniform probability distribution) is your only... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
  • DNS Issue (site not reachable)
Seems our site and all other sites on njal.la are down, cant access our domain, will update what happen, meanwhile use mirror https://t-rb.org. Source: 6 months ago
  • Who should I use for Domain Name Management since Google Domains has been sold?
All solid and I have accounts with all of them. I threw in NJAL.LA if you want some privacy. https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/domains/ https://njal.la/ https://www.sav.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • negative review for spaceship.com domain registration
Just use https://njal.la they are great ! Been using them for 7 years now. Source: 11 months ago
  • 🌐 Reputable registrars with WHOIS privacy included by default?
Https://njal.la/ seems to have that too. Source: 11 months ago
  • Isn’t domain privacy (whois) the weakest link?
I bought my own domain from njal.la with monero. Not even account registration is needed. Source: 11 months ago
  • Ask HN: Recommendations for a New Domain Registrar?
    Https://njal.la privacy-oriented domains for 15€ a year. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
  • Summary of the alternatives for port-forwarding
Https://www.azirevpn.com/ sweden based, just added port forwarding Https://njal.la/ also based in sweden, all ports open from my understanding. Source: 11 months ago
  • Any privacy concerns with using Google Domains as a registrar?
Not sure what the WHOIS policy is for Google Domains, but Google being Google, they probably require it. You can always spoof those details, but I prefer a registrar like NJALLA which acts as a proxy and redacts everything for me. Source: 11 months ago
  • Regarding the Port Forward Termination
I bought a domain from njal.la and I want to transfer it to Cloudfare's nameserver, but I get this stupid error message every time... Source: 11 months ago
  • Email domain security & Cloud
Well, first of all, define what is your goal. Your domain hoster is not the same as your email provider. I am using Microsoft for my emails, and thinking about going for Tutanota for my not-so-official emails. I have several domains on my own and I am using my normal email domain for official purposes. Like financial services, governments, shopping sites, etc. Rest of the emails are on SimpleLogin, and bought a... Source: 11 months ago
  • I want to register for a domain anonymously
Domains can only be registered through an ICANN approved registrar. Therefore, there seems to be be no anonymous way to register for a domain (njal.la is down). Source: 12 months ago
  • Register for a domain with first and middle name (instead of last/family name)?
If it's just for fun go for it, but just have control in mind. For example you can use njal.la that allows private purchase and is basically a proxy, but that means you may lose control of that domain (not sure how often that has happened). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Citadel Securities UK website - oh dear!!
For anyone making websites that might offend a billionaire with so many authoritarian politicians in his pocket check out using Njalla for hosting. Https://njal.la/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Seeking Opinions: Would You Be Interested in an Anonymous Reverse Proxy Service?
In the same way that https://njal.la/ is different from https://digitalocean.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Anarchist web-hosting?
Njalla for privacy and VPS services but it's expensive and requires anonymous payments. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Where can I buy VPS or Cloud servers with cryptocurrency?
Off the top of my head, you have a number of options - depends really on what you are looking for as far as features and cost are concerned...choices range from somewhere like Njalla (https://njal.la) who are a bit costly but you can remain completely anonymous with them if you wish, Hostinger and Namecheap both accept crypto payments for their service and are legit, quality companies. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Forwarded emails going to Spam
I'm using njal.la's email forwarding service to forward emails from a catch-all address (*@foo.com) to a regular Gmail address (\foo@gmail.com). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Converting from Anonaddy...
The only downsides to njal.la are they own the domain on your behalf and they are more expensive. If they disappeared tomorrow you would have no claim to the domain (however it is pretty unlikely). If you are planning on using the domain with companies that know your real identity anyways the privacy benefits start to diminish quickly and the added expense and risk might not be worth it compared to using a... • Domain
I'm considering switching to https://njal.la/ while I can. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Cost/Benefit of Running My Own Tor Exit Relay
Please correct me where I am wrong and please fill in the gaps I missed. I noticed in the Tor browser settings there is a place to set a specific exit relay. As I understand TOR the most vulnerable part is the exit relay. So if I were to run my own exit relay and set that as the permenant exit in my Tor browser would there be any greater risk to my identity being exposed than just using random exit relays? Let us...
