  This is actually Multiplay's job to do though, as Respawn has outsourced the game server hosting to them. Valve already has this infrastructure built, and Apex Legends should be eligible to access it as it's published on Steam; see Steam Datagram Relay on the Steamworks Documentation website. • iiTzTimmy got bronze to master in one stream. It took him about 33 hours. Mad respect.

  Respawn's contract is not with AWS, but with Multiplay. It would be nice if people eventually stopped blaming Respawn's server software on the hosts, however. Source: about 3 years ago
