That's a fantastic price for a good all in one system. It also has a hdmi arc which would be great for movies, tv, gaming. You would have to spend much much more to get similar value in speakers + amp. May I ask what speaker stands you are looking at? I have also been on the market for a pair, been eyeing on a few at monoprice.com but their inventory seems f'ed up. Source: 5 months ago

They are on sale at monoprice.com for $419.99 with their EXTRA30 code. Once EQ'd they are truly TOTL Summit-Fi worthy. They use the same pinout as the M1570, so make sure you get the correct Balanced cable, else you risk shorting your amp. Periapt and Hart Audio make cables for them, as well as Monoprice. (I have MP's). Source: 5 months ago

If you just want stereo, Marantz has a really good integrated amp. But many companies have great 2 channel integrated amps. If you are in the US (that was my assumption) get on Crutchfield's website and search for 2 channel amps. If you just get "an amp" you'll need a pre-amp... Source: 5 months ago
If you're hell bent on putting a TV/Surround sound in there, you'd want in wall speakers, which you can find at amazon, best buy, monoprice.com and I'm sure other places as well. You may want to consider adding insulation to the walls. Source: 10 months ago

iPhone 4 has a fully proprietary 30-pin dock connector, it's not plugging in to anything but older iPods and iPhones and iPads. But the GoPro 4 should take a standard form of USB you can get on monoprice.com for dirt cheap. Source: 10 months ago

Honestly I know it isnt the most fun...but you will save a ton if you make your own. It is really not hard and then you can replace cables as needed. You can get pretty decent prices at monoprice.com if you are in the US. They even sell an easy mode crimper that lets you pass through the strands so you dont have to worry about getting the lenght just right. I was able to get 500ft of cable, the crimper and a...
