Mokbi turns your app into a published, localized App Store & Google Play listing: screenshots, feature graphic, store text and 50-language translation. Free to make.
A startup from Arnhem, the Netherlands that is founded by Rob Bergevoet.
This page is designed to help you find out whether Mokbi is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Mokbi is a browser-based design tool for App Store and Google Play screenshots. Start from a template, drop your screenshot into a real device frame, add captions, and build multi-panel carousels. One click translates the whole set into all 50 App Store languages with AI, including right-to-left scripts. When the set is ready, Mokbi exports every required store size and can publish it straight to Google Play and App Store Connect, so you never touch a zip file or an upload form. The whole editor is free to use, including one AI Designer run; a subscription unlocks full-resolution export and publishing. The AI Studio (image generation, headlines, templates, and an ASO Strategist) runs on credits that never expire.

React, TypeScript and Vite for the editor, with three.js for the 3D device rendering. The marketing site is Astro. Backend runs on Netlify Functions and Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage). Rendering is offloaded to Modal and RunPod. AI features use Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini. Payments via Creem, analytics with PostHog, phone pairing over WebRTC.
Mokbi covers the whole path from blank canvas to published listing in one place. You design the screenshot set in a browser editor, add the Play feature graphic, have the store text written, translate everything into all 50 App Store languages in one click, and publish straight to Google Play and App Store Connect. Most tools do one slice of that — a framer here, an uploader there. The editor is free and needs no account; you pay only when you want the finished, localized set shipped.
Three reasons, and one honest counterpoint.
Localization is included, not an add-on: all 50 App Store languages, translated by AI in one click, on every plan. Most tools cap you at a handful of languages or sell translation separately.
It publishes, it doesn't just export. The finished set goes straight into Google Play and App Store Connect, so you never touch a zip file or an upload form.
The free tier is a real editor, not a demo. Full canvas, every device frame, every template, no card, no account to start. One panel downloads free at full store resolution.
The counterpoint: if you only need a single quick device mockup, a lighter tool will be faster. Mokbi is built for the whole listing, across languages.
Indie developers and small studios shipping to the App Store and Google Play — the people who write the app and also have to produce the store listing. Particularly those releasing in more than one language, where doing screenshots by hand stops scaling. Also used by app marketers and freelancers who prepare listings for clients.
We didn't set out to build a screenshot maker, we went looking for one. We wanted a single place to design a whole store listing in a modern editor and then ship it straight to both stores, and it wasn't out there. Every tool did one slice, a framer here, an uploader there, never the whole path. An AI that actually designs the screenshots, writes the store text and translates the lot, built in rather than bolted on? We couldn't find that either.
The other thing that kept happening: tools wanted a credit card before they'd show the editor. So the deal here is the opposite — free to make, paid to go global. We built the tool we wanted to use, and we still run it as a small indie team.
