Here's the issue I'm running into: Last night I finally got around to checking out mirrror.xyz. A decentralized blog, something great in the face of totalitarian censorship. It made me think about the Chinese woman who a few years ago posted some bombshell article or accusation onto the blockchain so it could not be censored. I've tried Mastadon and Matrix (using Element). I think they're two of the best examples. But I think for none of these have quite nailed the UX of existing social networks (Mastadon's not quite as good as Twitter and Element is not as feature-rich as Discord).
