1. Who are some of the biggest customers of Meerlume?

   We're just launching, and do not have any big customers yet.

2. What's the story behind Meerlume?

   Meerlume started from a mismatch we kept seeing: small business owners were being sold AI chatbots that were unpredictable and expensive per message, when what they actually needed was something that answers reliably and costs almost nothing to run.

   The insight was that AI is genuinely great at understanding a business description - and genuinely risky at improvising customer-facing answers about price and availability. So we split the two. The AI reads your description once and builds the flow. After that, it's out of the loop.

   The name comes from meerkats: the sentinel that stands watch while everyone else gets on with their work.

3. What makes Meerlume unique?

   Meerlume only uses AI at setup time. You describe your business in plain language - services, prices, hours, booking rules - and Meerlume generates a deterministic conversation flow that runs without ever calling an AI model again.

   That means the bot behaves the same way every time: no hallucinated prices, no invented availability, no drifting off-script. It also means per-conversation cost is effectively zero, so pricing isn't tied to message volume the way it is with LLM-powered chatbots.

   Bots deploy to Telegram and WhatsApp, and every conversation lands in a built-in inbox with a calendar view for bookings.

4. Why should a person choose Meerlume over its competitors?

   Three reasons:

   Predictability. Most AI chat builders run a language model on every customer message. Meerlume compiles your description into a fixed flow, so the bot can't improvise about your prices or your schedule.

   Cost structure. Because there's no inference at runtime, Meerlume isn't priced per AI message. You're metered on conversations, not tokens.

   Setup time. No flow-chart builder, no drag-and-drop canvas, no developer. Write a paragraph about how your business works, review the generated flow, and publish. Editing works the same way - describe the change in plain language.

   Meerlume also ships the parts businesses actually need after launch: an owner inbox, review/approval mode for bookings, a calendar, and owner notifications on Telegram.

5. How would you describe the primary audience of Meerlume?

   Small and medium local businesses that take bookings or enquiries over messaging apps and don't have technical staff: barbershops and salons, dental and physio clinics, driving schools, restaurants, cleaning and moving companies, tutors, freelance designers, and trades like plumbers and electricians.

   The common profile is an owner who is already answering the same questions in WhatsApp or Telegram all day and wants that handled automatically without hiring a developer or learning a flow builder.

   Agencies and resellers that set up messaging automation for local business clients are a second core audience.
