MattCha is a free, native client for Mattermost workspaces on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is built in SwiftUI with native navigation on every platform โ€” not a stretched phone app and not a web view.

I built MattCha to have thoughtful, detailed conversations with my AI agent โ€” without giving up the speed and feel of a real Apple-platform app.

It is a fully native Mattermost chat client for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It began as the tool I wanted for myself: a calm place for long-running, threaded conversations where code, context, and follow-up questions stay together.

What else it does - Sign in to your own Mattermost server and keep up with channels, direct messages, and threads in a clean, fast interface: - Connect with a username and password or a personal access token - Browse teams, public and private channels, direct messages, and group chats - Read, send, delete, and reply to messages, including threaded conversations - Add and remove emoji reactions, with Markdown rendering - Search channels and messages, plus a quick switcher - Upload, download, open, and save attachments - See unread counts and mark channels as read - Native iPad and Mac layouts with a sidebar, chat view, and optional thread pane
