  • Very big file transfer service
MASV - https://massive.io/ does up to 15TB per file and has a desktop app, but it's expensive. Source: 10 months ago
  • Do you know of a good way to transfer files?
Https://massive.io you pay by the GB downloaded. Worth it. But you both need fast internet. Source: 11 months ago
  • Do you know of a good way to transfer files?
I've been using Massive for a while now to transfer HUGE uncompressed 8k+ files back and forth between clients. I've gotten great results with it, and find the cost to be quite reasonable. Source: 11 months ago
  • Mediashuttle Vs MASV. Growing pains
We have been using massive.io for a while now. And our partners have gotten used to how smooth the process is. Source: 12 months ago
  • We’re done with Aspera, now what?
I’ve worked with both and Media Shuttle works the same way. You may also be interested in MASV, which charges by data usage rather than users. Source: about 1 year ago
  • what is the best online delivery service?
I consider about... We Transfer or MASSIVE(https://massive.io/) or File Mail. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Corrupted pixels in videos downloaded from MEGA (info in comments)
Not sure what that is, but I use https://massive.io/ for large file transfers and have never run into issues like that before! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: Transfer Large Amounts of Data
#1 https://massive.io while pricey per gb ($0.25/GB), you get the first 150GB free, so you'd be paying about $35 for the file transfer. Would be the least amount of effort of any of those scenarios, no real special tools required. Could even drag and drop the folder into the browser. #2 would be portable hard drive. 300gb of video isn't enough to justify any syncing tools. Just drag and drop. #3 rclone to... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Best method for requesting large file transfers
Large Files Transfers, you say? Not going to lie, it's kind of our specialty. MASV (massive.io) is a great option for your file transfer needs. If you haven't used us before, you can sign up and get a 100 GB free trial. Source: over 1 year ago
  • how to deliver 4k footage to wedding client? (first timer)
Https://massive.io/ is pretty damn affordable for sending large amounts of data if you're happy uploading somewhere. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there an Aspera type service affordable for individuals to transfer large files to clients or editorial?
We had this issue several years ago and came upon Massive.io as our "Aspera-like" solution too. It's similar to WeTransfer in look and feel if you're familiar with that. We used it for delivery of files to our Vantage system for remote editors using S3 as well as for raw capture delivery for post. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Trying to send 1TB of footage over the internet to a client, best way to do it?
I've found massive.io to be great at larger file transfers. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Sharing Large Video Files - Client Complaints
Sending an external hard drive is the mail is likely the most cost effective and foolproof route. If you need to do it via the internet, MASV is a nice option. https://massive.io/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • How are videos supposed to be sent?
The great thing with MASV is during your trial period you can get 100GB for free, plus it is pay-as-you-go, so you don't have to commit to a subscription. https://massive.io/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Transferring footage with dropbox
Dropbox is fine for small files, but the upload speed and stability is a real issue when you're uploading large files. For those, I either use https://massive.io/ or FedEx, depending on size of file and urgency of delivery. If you've got to deliver multiple terabytes at a time, don't underestimate an SSD sent Next Day Priority. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I’m looking for a good image transfer/ storage/ sharing service. I am currently paying for WeTransfer but it’s unreliable and slow. I’ve had bad experiences with drop box and google drive doesn’t hold the quality. Any ideas?
Take a look at MASV. It is pay-as-you-go so you don't need to commit to a full subscription. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Client has stupid expectations
Setup your own MASV account. Create a portal for them to upload to (they don't need an account, just the link to the portal). On your end, via the MASV app, enable automation and whenever they upload something to the portal, you'll get an email PLUS it will automatically download to wherever you set in the automation (provided the MASV app is running on your computer). • Keep It Simple: The 5 Most Effective Tools for Online Teaching
MASV: MASV is the most efficient and reliable tool for videographers and artists to share files that are time-sensitive with customers. Speed is very important when it comes to sharing files larger than a hundred GB. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
  • Frame.io management
For an easy solution for clients to upload files, you'll want MASV. Really easy, just send a link and client drags and drops files, folders, etc. You get notified. Source: over 2 years ago
  • What’s the easiest way to transfer footage to the editor online ? Max about 1tb of footage
Instead of sending hard drives, I've used https://massive.io/ .25/GB which adds up, but it beats time & shipping costs thats for sure. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Web based front end for object storage ?
Bit of context: I work in film post-production and our company uses a metric ton of Massive.io to facilitate receiving large quantities of large files (we receive 2-5TB of data via our massive.io portals every month). It is however a very expensive way of doing things 250$/1TB!, given that naked object storage can be had for as little at 6$/1TB (wasabi). Unfortunately, most of our contributors are not tech savy...
