5. What's the story behind Marching Maestro?

   Marching Maestro came out of a love for the marching arts by founders Drew, Vince, and Todd. They saw first-hand how schools were struggling to put together their events - using various paper and web-based solutions that directors and boosters had to coordinate and use with great difficulty. Instead of having to knit together a custom, ineffective solution, Marching Maestro puts everything together for you.

   So the platform was built the way a contest actually runs, from opening registration through the final retreat and payout, rather than as a generic event tool with band terminology added on. Marching Maestro LLC is bootstrapped and based in Georgia. It completed its first full competition season in fall 2025, serving 17 events across Georgia and neighboring states, and grew there largely by word of mouth among directors, to the point that more than half of Georgia's competing high schools are now connected to the platform.
