I see no one has mentioned Mailu (https://mailu.io/1.7/). Itโs a self hosted mail server made up of a couple docker images. I would recommend it based on my use and experience. Iโve been using it for my personal email and for automated no-reply messages in a few projects with no delivery issues. Mail servers and such can be very frustrating to configure and such, I would recommend taking a look at Mailu. It is a preconfigured mailstack (with some options and you could modify some of the configurations) built on top of docker.
