Decentralization
MaidSafe offers a decentralized internet platform aimed at enhancing privacy and security by distributing data across a network rather than storing it on centralized servers.
Data Privacy
Built with user privacy in mind, MaidSafeโs SAFE Network encrypts data, ensuring that only the user can decrypt and access it, while their personal information remains anonymous.
Censorship Resistance
The network is set up to be resistant to censorship as there is no single point of control, allowing for free flow of information globally.
User Autonomy
MaidSafe provides users with full control over their data, allowing them to decide who can access or share their information.
Resource Efficiency
The SAFE Network utilizes excess storage and computing resources from users globally, potentially lowering operational costs compared to traditional centralized services.

It shows the strength of MaidSafe's backlink profile compared to the other websites. In most cases a domain rating of 60+ is considered good and 70+ is considered very good.

We can support projects like MAIDSafe [1] who are building the SAFE network [2]. It should create what (I feel) the internet was always ment to be. Peer to peer communications. I think the only solution to this is to stop the centralised mess the internet has become. 1. https://maidsafe.net/. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
I used to really geek out on this space, since I'm building a decentralized Internet suite myself. I interviewed Ian Clarke, the creator of Freenet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWrRqUkJpMQ -- they are finally close to releasing, after 14 years! (Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with them). - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Pay per packet. I remember maidsafe was working on this for many years without much success. Then they got into crypto for micropayments a decade later and it all got a bit messy. Not sure how well the project is doing these days but it was a solid concept at heart. https://maidsafe.net/. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
