  • Oh man I suck at this
There are a bunch of helpful resources online, for instance, magoosh or Kaplan are pretty popular resources. Magoosh https://magoosh.com. Source: 11 months ago

I can highly recommend magoosh.com (including their blog). They have a prep program with quite a lot of math problems with full explanations. I worked on improving my scores from ~162-163, and it went up all the way to 169 (I got 170 on but practice tests, but... well). Source: over 2 years ago
  • For those that are PhD / graduate students, how did you know that you wanted to go into research? What actions did you take during your undergraduate degree that you found helpful or wished you could change?
As for GRE, I will preface my answer by stating that different people will have different strategies that work best for them. I started with all the common GRE practice books. To get your SAT/ACT scores up, consider a test study course like magoosh. They're... Source: about 3 years ago
  • It's been 14+ years since I took a math course.
Hey! I'm in a similar boat. It's been about 6 years for me since college, 8 years since I've taken math. Since I basically have to reteach myself high school math, I've been using a study plan I bought from magoosh.com. I can say that I think it's been worth it to me so far because it's giving me structure and lessons about integers, geometry, stuff I don't use at all in my everyday career.
