Can confirm. Works perfectly. Drivers are on github. Source: 5 months ago
I would be lazy and just get a (used) Magic Trackpad and install the GitHub Multitouch drivers. (I use mine with my ThinkPad sometimes and it works pretty good). Source: 8 months ago
I always install the Precision Touchpad Driver. This might depend on the age of your machine, though. I think Boot Camp drivers for the last Intel generation include this by default. (But I don't know that for certain. I do know that 2012 Macbook Pro sure doesn't.). Source: 11 months ago
Edit: do you use https://github.com/imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad when you're using that trackpad with windows? It's an excellent driver. :). Source: 12 months ago
I couldn't find any cause. Maybe PowerToys? Maybe mac-precision-touchpad? Not sure... Source: 12 months ago
Not officially supported, but yeah, they do work on windows. Source: about 1 year ago
The magic trackpad works wonderfully with github drivers. You can adjust all the normal windows trackpad settings like it's native. I havens had any issues with this and have been using it for years. Source: about 1 year ago
I installed Win10 on my macbook pro 2013, I had to install https://github.com/imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad to make my touchpad work correctly, now I am looking for something to make my dim/volume/etc key work. They work like normal F1-2-3-etc keys atm I think. Source: about 1 year ago
Haven't used it in a while but yes imbushuo's driver ( https://github.com/imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad ) has been great and generally worked better for me over trackpad++. Source: about 1 year ago
I had all sorts of trackpad issues when I used bootcamp. Unsure if this is the fix for you but I used this (GitHub link). Source: about 1 year ago
I saw some suggestions about trackpads. Another option (albeit expensive) is an apple trackpad and then using this if you're using windows: https://github.com/imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad. Source: about 1 year ago
Hello, On the macbook pro 16" 2019, I have a problem that the keyboard and trackpad just randomly stop working once in a while, until the device is restarted. Forexample it happens when the MacBook is wake up from sleep. This problem does not exist on macOS, only in windows. Has anyone encountered this? I installed Windows via bootcamp and also all drivers except the trackpad driver. I installed it from here,... Source: over 1 year ago
Touchpad feels like 20 years ago laptop: Just install the open source precision touchpad driver. Source: over 1 year ago
I don't think there is official support for the modern Windows Precision Touchpad protocol as this is not something Apple is interested in, but if you don't mind you can try a community driver: Releases · imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad (github.com). Source: over 1 year ago
This driver on Github turns the magic trackpad 2 into a precision touchpad for windows to understand and configure. Source: over 1 year ago
I usually switch between a Logitech MX Ergo and an Apple Magic Trackpad with Imbushuo’s Windows driver between my Model 100’s halves; for gaming I use a regular-style Pulsar Xlite V2 and move the right half of the board out of the way. Source: over 1 year ago
You need to install this yes https://github.com/imbushuo/mac-precision-touchpad. Source: over 1 year ago
When I tried to manually update the trackpad settings, I was a bit confused about what to do in device manager. Under "Human Interface Devices", there is a device called "HID-Compliant Touch Pad" but when I updated the drivers using the precision touchpad drivers, nothing happened. I think the computer is recognizing the touchpad as "HID-Compliant Mouse" under "Mice and Other Pointing Devices". The problem is that... Source: over 1 year ago
I didn't feel as comfortable using the precision touchpad drivers on Github. I know the code is all there, but nobody has time to look at all that and certainly not at a level where you can determine if there are any questionable issues. I've used it in the past, and it worked great though. Source: over 1 year ago
I know there are many non-official drivers, chief among them is this. However, I keep hearing mentions of official driver support. Source: over 1 year ago
