Nice! I've been using Mac Mouse Fix (https://mousefix.org/), which is also open source, to handle inverting my mouse wheel and remapping the back/forward buttons, but LinearMouse looks quite a bit more featureful. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
If you have a mouse with extra buttons besides the left/right/middle click, I recommend Mac Mouse Fix, doesn’t have as beautiful of a scrolling animation, but allows to assign mouse buttons to key combos or OS actions. Source: 11 months ago
If you have a mouse with multiple buttons, Mac Mouse Fix also fixes scrolling and allows you to assign the buttons, though it’s been stuck on 3.0 beta 6 for a while now, so I wonder if the dev abandoned it. Smooth scrolling isn’t as good as MOS imo, but it’s perfectly suitable. Source: 12 months ago
Temporarily, I'm using this as a fix for standard system shortcuts. Https://mousefix.org/. Source: 12 months ago

I can't +1 this comment enough. Using the trackpad with natural scrolling is honestly pure joy. However, with a mouse wheel, it feels completely wrong. There are tools out there that let you do this. The one I use is Mac Mouse Fix (https://mousefix.org/). It works exceptionally well and is free. Source: about 1 year ago

Mac Mouse Fix Is a option, it used to be free, but the latest version for Ventura finally went paid. It’s a one-time purchase though, and allows you to assign a keyboard shortcut to every button besides left and right click (for obvious reasons). Source: over 1 year ago
