I almost gave up. But then we found LINE messaging app. It has full chat features (sending photos, files, emojis, stickers etc.) and "Ligo LINE Translator" chatbot. I send a message in English and the chatbot translates it into Japanese and Chinese for me in one go automatically. It works very well for us. I no longer have to send the same message twice lol.
