Many developers are surprised to learn that levels.fyi, known for its tech salary data, initially ran on spreadsheets without a backend database. This example shows the potential of spreadsheets in managing web data and how you can start with something that works to optimize it later. We can do the same thing with Google Drive and Google Sheets in C#! - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
Check levels.fyi , SoundCloud Level4, Level5 are barely reaching 100K with YOE 8-10 years. N26 - L4(Senior), L5(Lead) have avg TC around 80-85 and 100-105 respectively. Zalando for the interview process they have - Senior is around 90K and principal around 115K. That's kinda low. Source: 5 months ago
PS: I have started looking at levels.fyi and Glassdoor - only LinkedIn for job postings for now. Source: 5 months ago
Salary wise, you can check on https://levels.fyi/, but from what I remember the range is 60-65K for Paris office. Source: 5 months ago
Yes definitely. Glassdoor is useful here, look at pay at companies that employ FPGA/ASIC engineers. Intel/Altera ; Amd/Xilinx ; Nvidia ; etc... etc. levels.fyi is useful as well. Source: 5 months ago

It depends a lot on company and location. Take a look at levels.fyi, for a FAANG in the Bay Area it can be much higher than that. Source: 5 months ago
Generally speaking I think hardware design jobs do pay a little less than SWE roles. I dont know about half though. You can use a site like levels.fyi which has some data on salaries to compare. Take a look at google for example which has lots of SWE and hardware folks. Maybe also take a look at nvidia, AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm. Source: 5 months ago
Just rechecked. No, they aren't. Half of them don't even have a record on levels.fyi at all, a couple are on par, and one is lower. Source: 5 months ago
You can refer to levels.fyi and categorize by Canada/Toronto to see what people are getting paid at what company in Canada. Source: 5 months ago
Yea I took a look on levels.fyi but I wasn't too sure how reliable it is due to the lack of data. But I think overall, most websites suggest MarketAxess pays more than BNY. Source: 5 months ago
Take a look at levels.fyi, if you're trying to get a return offer MarketAxess pays a LOT more to full timers. Source: 5 months ago
TC seems super low for E5 given the data on levels.fyi for Meta though. Source: 5 months ago
If want a more realistic and generalized data set, I would look at ZipRecruiter data & Indeed, and here is what they have to say. Note that Indeed also has FAANG salary data reported as well. While ZipRecruiter data agree with Indeed data (the range overlaps), they both disagree largely with levels.fyi data. Source: 5 months ago
Other than that, levels.fyi has international job listsings as well. Such a shame that stackoverflow jobs was taken down, they had some to. Source: 5 months ago
Hey guys, I found that levels.fyi wasn't so accurate for canadian new grad salaries and so started a spreadsheet, it'd be really helpful if you share your new grad offers - all submissions are anonymous, I don't collect emails. Source: 5 months ago
I think we have all seen levels.fyi and the pay on there for Software Engineers/Data Scientists in Australia, but I was wondering what the pay levels were for other roles, such as Data Engineers or Cloud Engineers? Source: 6 months ago
Using mostly data from levels.fyi, I threw together a quick and easy visualization to help understand leveling, yoe (years of experience), and median total compensation across each of the 6 FAANGs. Source: 6 months ago
Research salary ranges for your desired role, and remember that engineering positions tend to have higher salaries than UI/UX design roles, which is where CG artists/technical artists often fall. Use resources like levels.fyi or Glassdoor for accurate salary range information. Source: 6 months ago
