   letro was built by an email developer who works with the drag-and-drop, make-it-not-break-in-Outlook side of email every day.

   AI could produce a rough email, but the output was generic and the HTML broke across clients. The idea was to have AI generate in MJML instead—so output is compatible with most email clients out of the box—and to add the things pure-LLM tools miss: drag-and-drop editing on top of the AI output, brand context so emails look like your brand, and the ability to clone any email from a screenshot.
