Your entire financial picture, the tax math and the forecast.
A startup from Belgium that is founded by Thomas Heremans.
This page is designed to help you find out whether Krosos is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Most people tracking their net worth run four things that disagree with each other: a spreadsheet, a portfolio tracker, a tax workbook and a retirement calculator.
Krosos is one app instead of four.
It syncs read-only from your brokers, your EU banks, money-market funds, on-chain wallets and crypto exchanges, and AI-powered import covers whatever has no API, straight from a broker statement or a CSV. Subtract what you owe and the total is your real net worth rather than one broker's slice of it. Under the balances sits a full transaction ledger, and that is what makes the rest work:
• Capital gains matched to the lots you actually bought, with your country's rates and exemptions applied (presets for Belgium including the 2026 reset, France and Germany), every figure traceable back to the trades behind it
• A forecast that runs decades out on income, spending, pensions, taxes and market swings, down to the month you could stop working
• Rebalancing alerts when your mix drifts, a weekly digest, a Telegram bot, and a read-only API your AI assistant can answer from
Every customer gets their own database file and their own encryption keys, never a row in a shared table. Connections are read-only, so nothing can trade or move a cent. Export everything and leave whenever you want. Or run the desktop app, where the data never leaves your machine and there is no operator at all.

PSD2 open banking for banks, read-only API keys for exchanges, public addresses for wallets.

Imports land in a review queue; nothing touches your books unapproved.

Desktop App
The same app running entirely on your own machine, your data never on our servers.
Every customer gets their own instance: their own server process, their own database, their own encryption key, hosted in the EU. There is no shared database anywhere in the architecture. Add the scope: every asset class and your liabilities on a full transaction ledger, with capital-gains tax estimates, rather than just a broker portfolio.
If you want your entire financial life in one place without putting it in a shared cloud database, that is the trade Krosos makes and most competitors don't. Compared to Kubera: about 4x cheaper, EU-hosted, better at EU banks (PSD2), and single-tenant. Compared to a spreadsheet: the numbers stay current on their own. If a spreadsheet already does the job for you, keep the spreadsheet.
People in the EU who take their money seriously: the FIRE crowd, spreadsheet net-worth trackers, anyone with assets spread across a broker, banks, crypto and property who wants one honest number without handing their complete financial picture to a US app.
The founder tracked his money across a few brokers, multiple crypto exchanges, banks, a money-market fund and property in a spreadsheet he updated every Sunday. Every app that could automate it wanted his data in a shared database, usually outside the EU. So he built the opposite: an instance per customer, read-only connections, export and leave anytime. Solo founder, built in Belgium.
Deliberately boring: Python (standard library only, no framework, no ORM), SQLite, vanilla JavaScript ES modules, plain CSS, no build step. Single-tenancy makes that viable. Each instance serves one household, so it doesn't need to scale; it needs to be simple enough that one person can operate a fleet of them.
