  • Getting books to "disappear" off kindle when they are returned to public library?
However, when I "return" the books to my public library, they stay in my kindle library. Well, kind of. They disappear from the webpage version of my library (read.amazon.com) but they appear to still be in the library on my kindle. When I click on the books, however, a popup dialogue box appears angrily telling me the book has expired. Sometimes then the image of the book disappears from my library, sometimes I... • [Letter]
    (a) If you don’t already have any Kindle eReader devices registered with Amazon, then simply click on “Read now in Kindle Cloud Reader.” Your browser will open to the URL read.amazon.com where your eBook is stored and can be read. When you are finished reading for the time being and wish to read more, simply type read.amazon.com into your browser and your eBook will be there along with the reader. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Deep Links to Kindle Highlights
I use Zotero on my Mac as a reference manager and I'm trying to create "deep links" into my Kindle highlights. I know this is possible because read.amazon.com provides just such links by way of the "View In Kindle Desktop" option in the drop-down next to a note. (Detailed explanation here.). • Amazon won't change a book's reading direction, so I built a userscript to do so on the web reader
Solo Leveling vol 4, a Manhwa, has the reading order configured as a Manga. Asking Amazon or the publisher to fix it has had no efffect so far, so I built a userscript to do just that on the cloud reader (https://read.amazon.com/). Source: almost 2 years ago

Recently got a few books that I really like, but it would be really nice to sit back and Read from a distance while sitting on my bed on my large screen TV, that is connected to an Amazon fire stick. 4K. Despite the fact that I was told when I purchased this digital content that I could use it on all of my devices, it's nearly impossible to find a way to even access https://read.amazon.com while navigating on my... You may be able to use the cloud reader too - https://read.amazon.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • You can browse your Comixology library on a Kindle App, but not on a Kindle e-reader!
On the plus side, the Books vs. Comics selection on the left toolbar of the online reader works great. Amazon just needs to trickle that filtering ability down to all their other methods of reading Kindle books, since it's one of the biggest complaints people post here now. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Kindle Cloud Reader - random books can only display in app?
I borrowed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire through Kindle Unlimited just now and was able to read it using the Cloud Reader (read.amazon.com) without any problem. Source: almost 2 years ago

  • where to read comic books
Reading desktop is pretty bad. Have to download the kindle app or go to read.amazon.com and it's not as intuitive as before. On a tablet the reading experience is basically the same. The website is still gone though which sucks. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • iOS Kindle app on M1 Mac

  • Can I get Comixology to display which books I haven't read or am part way through or do I just have to know which titles I bought for later and forgot to read?
The online reader at https://read.amazon.com doesn't appear to have a read vs. Unread filter option at the moment, so you'll need to get your hands on one of the mobile apps to do that. Looking at the Comics app my Kindle Fire, it does have a Read, Unread, and In Progress filter option. Source: about 2 years ago
  • How to read the illustrated ebooks?
There's a free Kindle app for Android and iOS phones and tablets, of in a computer (Windows or Mac) you can also download an app. You can also use the cloud reader through your Internet browser on any of those devices too - https://read.amazon.com. Source: about 2 years ago
