To be fair, the advantage of Deno here is really the standard library that includes way more functionality than Node. But in the end, we should all rely on fewer dependencies. Deno is perhaps a better example with browser API's as part f winterTC + a growing set of std packages[1] and more importantly a security model that defends against this kind of exploit.
