For those of you on macOS who still want to benefit from arguably the best drawing application ever conceived, https://jspaint.app/ is the way. Use it all the time when editing screenshots. Bonus point: that Windows 95 style "error" beep when pasting too large image. Always sends the shiver down the spine and confuses the coworkers around (we're all-Mac shop). - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
That is something I cannot take credit for - https://jspaint.app/#local:58ec4c22cf9878 I just had to make some small changes so it would blender in better with my site. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
This rabbit hole is a waste of time, as someone who's been down it, you'll find piles of resources claiming CSS and JS flags will give you what you want but it never really gets there. The only way to actually get true aliased brushes in canvas is implementing a line drawing algorithm manually and drawing down aliased circles like how https://gifpaint.com/ & https://jspaint.app/ do it. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
OKAY! I've got some good reccomendations!!! Https://aggie.io/ - Proper artist-y program, layers, different brush styles, all the works, if you want something in-depth, this is perfect Https://jspaint.app/ - A favorite of mine, an web-based old school MSPaint clone, doesn't have newer MSpaint features but it's great for Aliased(no transparency) and Pixel art :D. I also find it very fun to download some color... Source: over 2 years ago
This was unreasonable hard to make in "ms paint". Source: almost 3 years ago
First comic I actually drew with MS Paint (or rather https://jspaint.app). Source: almost 3 years ago
"A hungry wolf stands outside a house made out of straw. You, a bad bad wolf Little pig, little pig, let me in! Me, the humble pig No, not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin! You, the wolf growing hungrier by the minute Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in! Please solve possible solution for X to blow down straw house." Have you tried one of the browser ones like https://jspaint.app/. Source: almost 3 years ago
I can confirm that the jspaint.app that you mentioned does not run on the Paperwhite browser. It tries to load an crashes rather quickly. The Kindle has what is sometimes described as an "experimental browser." It will run some JavaScript, but it seems that certain JavaScript syntax will not work. Also, to the extent that it does work, the browser is quite slow. Source: about 3 years ago
I also edit it using https://jspaint.app since I have a macbook. Source: about 3 years ago
Finally there are online versions of Paint that simulate what they were like on Windows. Https://jspaint.app/. Source: about 3 years ago
I found a browser-based clone https://jspaint.app/ that I use probably every day to whiteboard with my coworkers over zoom. It's probably become a meme at this point. Source: about 3 years ago
Search for these in the Software appโthey are way simpler than GIMP: Drawing, MyPaint, Pinta. There's also https://jspaint.app/ - Paint that runs in the web browser. Source: about 3 years ago
There must be a better solution, but perhaps simply taking a screenshot of every page, pasting it in Paint (or Word, Google Docs, etc.), and saving it in the file of your choice. Source: over 3 years ago
If the OP is stuck on mspaint, https://jspaint.app/. Source: over 3 years ago
Looks great! But you should know, there are alternatives to the proprietary M$ Pain(t). It's an old and not effective app to use. May I recommend an alternative? Source: over 3 years ago
I tried transparency on jspaint.app when I downloaded this. Source: over 3 years ago
Anyway for this contest I figured we would simply things a lot. Like a lot a lot. Like this contest you're gonna have to use This wonderful online version of MS Paint to make your cover. Yes, you can upload images to this and edit it from there, no it's not easy to do so because this is also working with roughly the same memory as 90's ms paint. I am, so excited to see how y'all do with this one. Source: over 3 years ago
I usually use https://jspaint.app/, which isnt exactly a linux alternative, since its web based but it gets the job done just fine. Source: over 3 years ago
I use MSPaint. Its easy to use, simple. No distractions or learning curve. If I'm on mac I use https://jspaint.app. Source: over 3 years ago
Thanks for the kind words! You can find a very good, though not perfect, approximation of the Paint version I use at https://jspaint.app/. Source: over 3 years ago
