Look at jobscan.co and it can help. It is free to use too. Yes, you only get 5 free scans, but there is nothing that says you can't use multiple accounts. Just use a different email address each time you create an account. Source: 10 months ago
Other than that, I think you've done a great job showcasing your experience, you've included metrics to show the value you bring, and your resume looks clean. My only other recommendation is to use Jobcan (jobscan.co) to compare your resume with the job description for each role so that you can easily identify any missing key words/phrases. It's a fantastic tool -- truly -- and has helped many of my clients land... Source: 11 months ago
You mean jobscan.co? My browser doesn't like jobscan.io much. Source: 12 months ago
You absolutely should. Try a tool like jobscan.co or even chatgpt. Source: 12 months ago
Use jobscan.co to check your resume against the job description. If you are not an %80 match to the description, a human will NEVER see it. Source: about 1 year ago
For the quality part, you want to customize your resume and your cover letter for each of those 10 jobs. Look through each job description and highlight key words and phrases. Then for each role, use search (control F in MS Word) and check your resume for those key words/phrases. If you don't have those key words/phrases on your resume, an ATS is scoring you low and that's likely why you aren't hearing back from... Source: about 1 year ago

Jobscan.co is a website that helps get past the automated filters. Source: about 1 year ago
Something that might help you is Jobscan. You input the job description and your resume, it analyzes them and gives you an ATS score and tips on what to edit to improve your chances of getting noticed. I used it for a while, it seemed super useful but I can't say it for sure helped me get more interviews (there were other factors during that time that may have been working against me). I would keep using it but... Source: about 1 year ago
I recommend going onto jobscan.co to compare your resume to the job posting for the % of matching criteria. A lot of bigger companies use software to filter out resumes so you might as well tweak your resume to hit some key words on the job posting and get an interview. Your fancy phrases don't mean squat to the software unless it's a match. Source: about 1 year ago
Make sure your resume matches the skills they are looking for. When I was applying to jobs, I changed my resume for each posting. The ATS software could be screening you out. Use Jobscan to compare your resume against the posting to see where you may need to make changes. Source: about 1 year ago
Wow, thanks for the feedback everyone. So fwiw, I uploaded both a .doc (plain Google doc version) and .pdf (nicer Figma version) to jobscan.co, and it was actually able to parse through the pdf pretty well - I'm not sure how "advanced" jobscan's ATS is, but is this a pretty good indication that the pdf "passes" the ATS test after all? You should also consider looking at your resume and making sure that it isn't being deleted by the ATS, is your resume ATS compliant and have you used an ATS engine like jobscan.co to make sure it's scoring 80% or higher before applying? Source: about 1 year ago
I use ChatGPT to spruce up my resume bullets. Make sure it's ATS friendly. I think I used jobscan.co My resume is super boring and in .docx format. The ATS friendlier the better. Source: over 1 year ago
Use technology to your advantage. More than likely if you aren't hearing anything from the job postings its because you are getting filtered out. Use jobscan.co or something similar to get more responses for the jobs you are applying to. Reach out to people and if you can go visit the offices see if you can meet with someone in person or through an event. Source: over 1 year ago

I know the process is hard but wanted to ask here for a review in case there really is something wrong with my resume. (Note: I revise the wording for each application with the help of jobscan.co. I try to get the match rate at 60-70%+). Source: over 1 year ago
When you apply for a job, these days you do it on a website. Your resume is then looked at by a computer program and it looks to see if you are a match for the job description. If you are not an %80 match, the resume usually gets discarded. I wrote an article on LinkedIn on this subject. You literally have to write a resume for each job you apply for these days. I tell people to use jobscan.co to help with that.... Source: over 1 year ago
Nice, I haven't heard of jobscan.co I'll check it out! I'll check out the career center and see about your idea on how to add relevant coursework too. Thanks for the tips! Source: over 1 year ago
Only to jobs I had relevant experience in ie desktop support, helpdesk, and analyst positions that didn't require a clearance. I'd use jobscan.co and try to match my resume as close as possible to the position. Everything else though yeah I agree was a blasting crap shoot. Source: over 1 year ago
This is a single column resume with embedded links to my web portfolio, my Linkedin, and personal email address. In addition, on jobscan.co this resume already hits 65% for Sr. Product management roles. Any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! Source: over 1 year ago
