  • 2022 TOC semifinal matchups revealed
Thank you @mfc248 on Twitter for this discovery! You can see the matchups for yourself by logging into https://jeopardy.com and navigating to the “Semifinals” on the Tournament of Champions web page. For some reason, you can’t view them while logged out (at the time of posting). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Jeopardy! recap for Mon., Nov. 7 - ToC day six
It was greyed out for me when I checked in Firefox and Edge, after initially using Chrome. Then I logged into my jeopardy.com account in Firefox, and the semifinals tab showed up. Source: over 1 year ago
  • TOC Printout
I printed out the Tournament of Champions bracket at the jeopardy.com Tournament of Champions page and I saw something interesting. In the Champion! Box it has FINAL SCORE: in dollars. Why would it be there? The champion is going to get a set amount for winning no matter the score. Unless the final score will be added to the set amount for the winner. For example, if the champion gets $250,000 for winning the... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Celebrity Jeopardy! continues tonight with Round 1 Quarterfinal 2, Oct. 2, 2022
The novel format features an hour-long game with three rounds and a whopping six Daily Doubles! One additional Round 1 quarterfinal match will be held Oct. 9. The first was already held last Sunday with actor Simu Liu emerging as the winner after a stunning upset at the end. The winners of these three quarterfinals will face off in the Round 1 semifinal match Oct. 16. Visit Jeopardy.com for more information on... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Jeopardy! recap for Fri., May 6
Well deserved win for Danielle. gotta play to win (e.g. High bets on daily doubles) to beat an elite player. 'web domain' was a pretty good guess for jeopardy.com, and it might have been a case of knowing too much about the topic rather than not knowing enough. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Jeopardy! recap for Fri., Apr. 8
The jeopardy.com statement "*All 4-time and over winning players starting from 01/05/21 will be eligible for a future Tournament of Champions" makes me think they might show up in the (presumably less competitive November 2023 tournament. I don't really know what "eligible" means though. Source: about 2 years ago
  • J6 on Google Home switched from Alex Trebek to Mayim Bialik and it made me sad
Quick news flash: they haven't changed the voice on jeopardy.com's J!6, so there's that. Source: over 2 years ago
  • If you could modify the rules of Jeopardy ...What would you change?
    - I tried to nail down a "Jeopardy Rules List" from a google search. Even from doing an advanced search from jeopardy.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Opinion: I'm Matt Amodio. How I win at 'Jeopardy!' and why I love CT
I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but I'd think the only reason he would be sharing this info (along with the article on jeopardy.com) is because he lost sometime during the past week's taping if not before. Source: over 2 years ago
  • The Philadelphia Inquirer: ‘Jeopardy!’'s awkward and horrible choice (not what you think it is)
My real problem with the exclamation point: the show can't decide how tall it should be! It started out taller than the other letters, back in 1984, but quickly was shrunk so the top lined up with the top of the letters, but the dot was higher than the baseline. But take a look at the host lectern in the picture: it now stretches from top to bottom, just like one of the letters. Now go to jeopardy.com. there, most... Source: over 2 years ago
