We should all use isidewith.com before each vote. After taking a quiz about where you stand on the issues, it gives a percentage match ranking with candidates. I use it to skip the horse and pony show and get to the point. Source: 11 months ago
I wish I Side With done better coverage for Australians. Source: about 1 year ago
Totally agree. In reality, there are a ton of more nuanced spectrums that are more relevant (isidewith.com). Source: about 1 year ago
I use https://isidewith.com . Fill out a quiz and they compare that to politicians' stated and voted positions on issues. Bookmark your results link and you can save it for use in future elections, because isidewith will include them when candidates announce they are running. Source: over 1 year ago

Isidewith.com? That one is pretty extensive and I know made the rounds back in 2016 I think. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://isidewith.com can help figure some of this out for you. However, in many cases there isn't really a right or wrong answer. In a very simplified view, Democrats believe that we should help people while Republicans believe people should help themselves. Both have their pros and cons. More taxes means trying to help more people, but there are risks of more abuse of that money and more government... Source: over 1 year ago
First, we already know where the two candidates stand. We have twitter, TV ads, news articles, and a dozen other avenues on demand, including sites like isidewith.com (whose sole purpose is to aggregate those stances to provide a concise profile of a candidate). Source: over 1 year ago
But... What if we are funding Ukrainian Nazi's? Wouldn't that be bad? What is so good about sending our money to Ukraine if our kids don't get school lunches? Are Democrats more pro war? Bye the way my isidewith.com says I'm 81% Libertarian and my highest percentage is AOC for President and then Bernie Sanders. Source: over 1 year ago
The republican party of late has made it really for moderates to split their views as much. I routinely use isidewith.com to help cut through what issues are really important to me currently and weigh them against a candidates views. Source: over 1 year ago
There's a website called isidewith.com where you can take a political quiz (it's quite extensive) and it will show you who on your ballot you are most in agreement with. It also gives a very detailed report of where you fall on individual issues and on the political spectrum as a whole. I've found it to be very helpful. Source: almost 2 years ago
Since you asked about advice, one thing that helped me is finding a local newspaper that seemed reasonable, and I generally agreed with their editorial content. Around election times they publish a list of endorsements with short blurbs about why they supported each candidate. That gathered the basic information into one place, which hugely simplified my research. Another resource is the website isidewith.com, you... Source: almost 2 years ago
True, but the two times in my life a candidate got over 70ish % on isidewith.com and I voted for in the primary, they never got the nomination, and that just makes for a special kind of heart ache. Source: about 2 years ago
According to isidewith.com, he supports taking the government out of marriage, supports gay couples adopting children, believes that no more restrictions should be put on purchasing guns, supports police using body cameras, doesn't believe the government should fund planned parenthood, doesn't support requiring large businesses to vaccinate their employees, and supports decriminalization of some drugs and the... I don't know, maybe it's different where you live. Have you tried using isidewith.com? It takes a bit of time to fill it out, but you get a pretty good idea of where you stand on the spectrum, because after all, it is a spectrum. I used to consider myself somewhat centrist, but it's clear that after using something objective like this, I'm quite left. Of course it's not a perfect tool but I'd argue there's nothing... According to isidewith.com apparently I support 70% of the socialist party's policies, and it's the party I matched most with (Democrat being a close second). Pretty much everyone says socialism is bad though even liberals. Source: over 2 years ago
Isidewith.com does need to include more options in response to their questions. Some (though quite few) of the additional responses you can choose, besides agree or disagree, are poorly made and it appears that the site may have bias against a particular option. Overall, however, a pretty interesting website to get a better view in where you may fall politically. Source: over 2 years ago
I did the isidewith.com test and my top result was predictably Pete Buttigieg. Apparently I also agree more with Donald Trump than Ron DeSantis. Source: almost 3 years ago
Another way to determine the views of people here would be to ask them about the results of ISideWith. I was most in agreement with the Libertarian Party and least in agreement with the Democratic Party. Source: almost 3 years ago
This question led me to go to isidewith.com to do a test to see which stances I would choose that were actually conservative. Most seem to be literally just counterproductive to having a good society. Here's what I got:. Source: almost 3 years ago
