You can also look into Iris, installs the same and gets better performance then optifine, but has compatability with like 90% of shaders (some just show a black screen or weird artifacts for me). Source: 12 months ago
Stop using Optifine and use https://irisshaders.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
You can use shaders only with specific mods. For the fabric mod loader it's iris Link: Https://irisshaders.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
Iris shader have you tried using this? And then download like sildurs shaders or anyother. Source: about 1 year ago
I would honestly recommend using iris/sodium (basically optifine on crack). Stock Java tends to have an EXTREMELY hard time utilizing modern GPUs, so performance tends to be lackluster (i know it sucks to have to use mods to fix the base game, but hey, that’s the beauty of Java mods). At the very least get https://irisshaders.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
If you're playing on the java edition and have a good PC, you can install a mod called iris that together with a shaderpack (kind of a package of code for lighting calculations) can massively improve the game's graphics. Source: about 1 year ago
And irisshaders.net if you want shaders. Source: over 1 year ago
Try iris shaders (https://irisshaders.net/). It supports most, if not all, of the shaders that optifine does, but it's less resource hungry than optifine. Source: over 1 year ago
I think you mean shaders. Java mods (Iris, optifine (go iris)) and shader packs. You want a fairly beefy computer I think. Source: over 1 year ago

If you just want shaders + enhancements and no other mods - https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
Iris has had amazing support for shaders for a long time, but they just released v1.5 which basically makes it fully compatible with all shaderpacks. Source: over 1 year ago
You can use the Iris installer from their offical website: https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
And there are better options out there than Optifine now, like https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
And just install https://irisshaders.net/ + that shader. If you want to increase performance then use https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/fabulously-optimized + that shader. Source: over 1 year ago
...or use something better like https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
You might get better results with Iris than you do with Optifine alone: https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
The main reason it runs so fast is because I'm using 'Iris Shaders', a mod that adds shader compatibility to sodium. https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
You can use the iris shaders installer as an easy one click method to install both fabric and sodium. Go to https://irisshaders.net/. Download and use the installer. Select version 1.19. I recommend select "Install as Fabric Mod" so you can easily add more mods later. Click install. Now open up the launcher and you will find a new iris profile. Source: over 1 year ago
The guy hasn't made a tweet regard the development of Optifine since August 1st. Just use Sodium + Iris. It will cover you just fine until Optifine gets updated to 1.19.2. Installs pretty much the same as if you did a dedicated Optifine Installation. https://irisshaders.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
